Student interns bring the REAL Services mission to life by providing hands-on assistance to program staff through immersive experiences.
Interns play a vital role in the success of many programs, and are thus an integral part of the REAL Services mission. These internships in turn offer valuable hands-on experience for interns, providing on-the-job training and resume-building opportunities.
Internship opportunities are available in the following areas:
- Client Care Advocate (Guardianship)
- Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC)
- Case Management
- Foster Grandparent Program
- Client Services Community
- Services Block Grant (CSBG)
- Human Resources
- Marketing and Development
Internships can be undertaken for academic credit (all internships applicable), or interns may be paid by the agency during the summer or paid by the intern's school with special approval. Internships may be hourly, and hours and duration can be adjusted to fit both the program's and interns' schedules. Interns will be compensated for any gas mileage they accumulate as part of their roles.
