The Foster Grandparent program offers individuals aged 55+ the opportunity to tutor and become a friend to children who are in need of extra help and support.
As a Foster Grandparent you will provide encouragement, help a child learn colors, shapes, numbers and the alphabet! You'll get to play games and participate in crafts to help develop social skills. Your help is needed to develop social skills and self esteem.
You can benefit by an hourly stipend that doesn't affect your benefits.

To be eligible you must be 55+, have a limited income, be able to serve 15 or more hours each week, and enjoy working with children.
