REAL Services provides weatherization measures for homes at no cost to income-eligible households in our community to further reduce their expenses.

By providing weatherization measure for homes, REAL Services helps income-eligible households reduce their fuel consumption and their resulting expenses. Weatherization procedures are offered in Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph Counties, and include:

  • Furnace inspection for health and safety
  • Water heater inspection for health and safety
  • Cellulose insulation in attics and side walls
  • Air sealing measures
  • Client energy education
